Agile Mind Middle and High School Math Programs Stand Alone at the Top
November 16, 2017
Grapevine, Texas –– Agile Mind is now the only publisher in the nation with top ratings for both middle and high school math, according to EdReports.org, an independent nonprofit that delivers evidence-based reviews of instructional materials. In addition, the Louisiana Department of Education has now evaluated Agile Mind’s middle and high school math programs as Tier 1, Exemplifies Quality, one of only two publishers to earn such a distinction at both levels. According to the Louisiana evaluation criteria, a Tier 1 program “Meets all non-negotiable criteria and scored the best possible on all indicators of superior quality.”
“We are thrilled to earn top rankings from the thorough review processes of EdReports.org and the Louisiana Department of Education. We seek to offer all students the opportunity to thrive with meaningful academic experiences that meet the rigor of the standards, and that prepare them for success in their future academic and professional pursuits.” says Linda Chaput, Agile Mind’s founder and CEO.
The promise of powerful learning standards can only be realized when teachers and students have access to high quality, aligned materials to support classroom instruction. Developed in a pioneering collaboration with the Charles A. Dana Center at The University of Texas at Austin, Agile Mind’s programs provide daily job-embedded support for teachers with lessons that emphasize problem solving within real-world contexts, as well as next-generation formative assessments that personalize students’ learning experiences.
With these just-published reviews, both national and state independent evaluation processes have clearly established Agile Mind as the premier provider of programs that can be used to transform the teaching and learning of mathematics.
